He is survived by a sister: Cynthia Copley, three brothers: Raymond R. Smith, Jr., Terry Lee Smith, David Paul Smith, granddaughter: Amanda Coats and great-grandchildren: Johnathan Price, Aylah Coats, Sophia Coats and Bary Coats. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Tammie Goodyear and a son: William "Billy" Smith.
