I was so sorry to read that Mr. Walter had passed. My father, Plummer A. Daniel, Sr. thought the world of him and this is how I came to meet him which was at the City of Washington. I must say he is one of the kindest people I have every met and his smile could light up a room. He had such kind words at my own father's funeral that he said to my mother and I. Robin Baker says:
As a child, I remember Uncle Walter being a quite man. But, he always had a friendly smile. Recently I had been reading the Bible. Some of what I read I didn't understand. So I wanted to talk to Uncle Walter. Unfortunately, he had been so sick. I went to for a visit and asked him, "can I talk to you about the Bible?" With that same friendly smile he said, "I would be glad too." I took his words to my heart because, I knew the Lord was in his heart. There are so many things I could say about this wonderful man. But I will end this heart warmed message with this. He was a loving husband and a loving father. I was so proud to call him my Uncle Walter. He will be greatly missed and we will never forget the time we had with him. Aunt BooBoo, Kent, Kathy, Kevin, and Karen my prayers and concerns go out to you. I love you all so much.

Sending my love to the family. I know, as I am sure you know, he is with his Savior and healed once more. I know the heartache of the loss can seem insurmountable at times, but just know that our creator is in control. Take comfort in the fact that he no longer endures the difficulties of this world. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants" Psalm 116:15 (NIV) Love you all, Wendy E. Godley
