Susan Sullivan Moss, age 60, of Washington, NC, passed away on February 26, 2024. She was born on February 17, 1964, in Washington, NC.

Susan had a diverse work experience, having worked as a Restaurant Manager and dedicating herself as a Homemaker. Her interests included enjoying the beach, visiting Ocracoke Island, and collecting sea shells. Susan took immense pride in caring for her husband, children, and home. She loved listening to music, dancing around the house, especially to her favorite song "Dancing Queen" by Abba.

Known for her spunky and energetic personality, Susan was a Mama Bear at heart. She was never afraid to speak her mind, always saying what she thought. Susan faced a long battle with cancer with grace and courage, and now rests peacefully, no longer in pain.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Brian Moss; mother, Dorothy Sullivan; daughters, Amanda Albanese, Emily Albanese, and Sarah Moss; granddaughters, Heidi Harding and Natalie Fitzgerald; grandson, Travis Harding; sisters, Cindy Alligood and Julie Bryant; and brother, Steve Sullivan. Susan is preceded in death by her father, Travis Sullivan.

A graveside service to honor Susan's life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, NC.

Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service is honored to serve the Moss Family during this difficult time.
