Roberta Grant Jarvis, beloved spouse of Francis J.Jarvis of Washington, NC entered the arms of the Lord on January 11, 2024. Born May 22, 1962 in Norwich, CT, she was the second child of William G. Grant, Jr and Charlotte Susanna Grant.

Her unwavering faith in God and determination helped her overcome multiple health issues throughout her life. During one illness, she wrote to Irma Bombeck: "A person's attitude can be a friend or enemy. She believed that God and her parents taught her to be a problem solver and not a problem dweller."

This attitude helped Robbie become a talented and dedicated bookkeeper working for various companies in CT, CA and NC. She was meticulous and had a penchant for detail. It showed in her work ethic and her house! She was never content to sit still. These traits were truly admirable and showed in all she did.

Robbie valued her family most of all. When she rediscovered the love of her life they were able to visit Virginia Beach, the majestic Clydesdales in New Hampshire, and various points across the US. She treasured these moments and she always, especially at Christmas, made sure to create a warm and loving atmosphere for everyone around her. She was an amazing baker sharing her homemade temptations with all.

When Robbie accepted, her final miracle was eternal rest and not a cure. She peacefully passed surrounded by her loving family Francis J. Jarvis, her husband of 30 years, Sharron (Neil) Patrie of NC, William G (Lisa) Grant, III of CT and Beth (Robert) Sondergaard of FL.
