Robert Clay Todd, born on August 7, 1953, in Nelsonville, OH, bid farewell to this world on January 29, 2024, at ECH Health Medical Center. At the age of 70, Robert's journey on Earth came to an end, leaving behind a legacy of wit and charm.

With a career spanning as a Master Mechanic for the State of Ohio and specializing in large equipment mechanics and small engine repair, Robert had a knack for fixing things that seemed irreparable. Even after becoming legally blind, he remained capable of solving any problem that came his way.

When he wasn't busy tinkering with machinery, Robert enjoyed participating in V.I.P. Fishing Tournaments. As a member of the Southern Riders Motorcycle Club, he found joy in the camaraderie and adventures the open road offered. His ability to fabricate anything with his brilliant mind was renowned among all who knew him.

Robert was the kind of man who never hesitated to speak his mind. If a thought entered his head, you can bet he voiced it. His witty banter and no-nonsense attitude made him both a refreshing companion and a formidable opponent. Family and friends never had to worry about where they stood with Robert; he always let them know.

He had a soft spot for all animals, but his dogs held a special place in his heart. With a great love for life, Robert had a vast network of friends whom he cherished deeply. He treated others exactly how he wished to be treated, making him a shining example of kindness and decency.

At the core of Robert's life was his beloved wife, Cynthia Lynn Todd. Their bond was unbreakable, and he loved and cherished her with all his being. He was known for openly expressing his love for those who mattered to him, showing that vulnerability could coexist with strength.

In his final moments, Robert was reunited with his late mother, Mary Virginia Todd, and father, Albert Clay Todd. Their spirits will forever watch over the legacy he leaves behind.

No services will be held at this time.

As we bid farewell to Robert Clay Todd, let us remember the witty, no-nonsense man who fearlessly spoke his mind, loved unconditionally, and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his spirit forever guide us to treat others with kindness and spark a little laughter along the way.
