Plummer Nicholson Harding, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 83. He was born on September 12, 1940, in Washington, North Carolina, to the late Hugh B. Harding and Phoebe Harding.

Plummer dedicated his life to hard work and was known for his skills as an electrician. He spent many years working for Tarheel Controls and as a supervisor with National Spinning. His commitment and expertise were greatly valued by his colleagues and those he served.

Outside of work, Plummer found joy in various interests and hobbies. He treasured his late wife, Lova, who was the love of his life. Together, they created a beautiful family and shared countless cherished memories. Plummer also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and indulging in western novels. He found immense happiness in spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting bonds that will be cherished forever.

One of Plummer's closest companions was his loyal dog named Cut-Bait, who brought him much comfort and companionship throughout the years. Plummer was also a proud member of the Milldam Hunting Club, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his passion for the outdoors.

Plummer is preceded in death by his father, Hugh B. Harding, his mother, Phoebe Harding, his son, Nicky Harding, his brothers James Harding and Dickie Harding, his sisters Betsy Jean Lewis and Faye Manning. Although they are no longer with us, their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved them dearly.

Plummer leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his children Tracey Harding, Toni Whitfield, Michael Harding, and Tammy L. Harding. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren Brandon Harding, Braska Hoffman, Sage Harding, Amber Miller, Zoe Harding, Jessica Hope Whitfield, Joel Martin Whitfield, Cassidy Rose Harding, Abigail Marie Harding, as well as his great-grandchildren Blakley Dawn Hoffman, Jayden Allen Hoffman, Mason Ickock, Payton Smith, Raelynn Harding, Rilee Harding, Liam Sage Harding, and Elsie Maeve Miller.

No services are scheduled at this time.

During this difficult time Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service is honored to be serving the Harding family. Plummer's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace.
