Peggy Jean Stinson, age 69, a resident of Washington, NC died Saturday, February 5, 2022 at her residence.
She was born August 24, 1952 to the late Margaret Beacham Dudley and Gary Bunting in Beaufort County, NC.
A visitation will be held from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm Friday, February 11, 2022 at Joseph B. Paul, Jr. Funeral Service.
She was devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren, and entire family.
Jean is survived by her daughter: Sharon Elks and husband Billy of Greenville, NC; one son: Pressley "Jack" Stinson, III and wife Crystal of Greenville, NC; three sisters: Mavis Carwile and husband Warren of Reedsville, VA; Linda B. Squires and husband Frederick of Pantego, NC; Sandy Silverthorne and husband Turner of Washington, NC, her loving companion: Ethan Boone, four grandchildren: Katherine Mayo, Sarah Elks, Hayden Stinson and Brittany Busch, four great grandchildren: Rebecca Edwards, Julianna Duggins, Levi Hensley and Lauren Mayo.
In addition to her parent's, she was preceded by her husband: Pressley "Jack" Stinson, Jr., one sister: Joyce Tetterton, four brothers: J.R. Bunting, Bernice Bunting, Bruce "Red" Bunting and Willie Beacham, and one granddaughter: Marsha Mayo.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for the great care given to Jean.
