Melissa was born in Edgecombe County on October 11, 1979 to Sammy Andrews, Sr. and Teresa Stancil Andrews. She currently resided in Greenville, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father: Sammy Andrews, Sr and her long-time companion: Bobby Robinson.

Her surviving family includes her mother: Teresa Andrews of Butner, NC; a brother: Sammy Andrews, Jr. and wife Shanita of Tarboro, NC; a sister: Amanda Andrews of Greenville, NC; son: Joseph Robinson, daughters Hayleigh and Shanna Andrews, guardian / uncle and aunt: Ken and Eva Kearney, and special
nieces: Erica, Savannah and Angel Andrews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Calvary Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church located at 446 Main Street, Winterville, NC 28590.
