Margaret Luvenia Beacham Dudley
Margaret Beacham Dudley age 87 of 121 E. 7th Street Washington, NC passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by Bruce Rabon. The family will receive friends after the service.
Margaret was born in Martin County on August 15, 1932 to the late Marsha Beacham Manning. She was a member of the Salvation Army. Margaret worked for the late Willie "Bill" Winstead. She loved spending time with her family and cooking as long as her health permitted.
Surviving are five daughters: Mavis Carwile and husband Warren of Reedville, VA; Peggy Jean Stinson of Washington, NC; Linda Squires and husband Fred of Pantego, NC; Sandy Silverthorne and husband Turner of Washington, NC; Joyce Tetterton and husband George of Pinetown, NC; sister: Lillian Clark of Virginia Beach, VA; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great grandchildren, special friend and neighbor: Lena Smallwood and her special dog and champion Teddy. Margaret was preceded in death by four sons: J.R. Bunting, Bernice Bunting, Bruce "Red" Bunting, Willie Beacham, two sisters: Mary Beacham, Peggy Oliver, two brothers: Russell Manning, Mayo Manning, grandson: Roy Carwile, great-grandsons: Cameron Squires, David Muse, Jr, and great-granddaughter: Marsha Mayo.
