Judy Elaine Hardison

Judy Elaine Hardison, age 64, a resident of Blounts Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January. 7, 2022, at the Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, 1:00 pm at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service with J.T. Edwards officiating.
Burial will follow at the Edwards Cemetery in Chocowinity, NC.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service.

Judy was born on March 16, 1957 to the late John and Grace (Carawan) Hardison in Washington, NC.
She worked as a Construction Worker who had her own itinerary and had everyone working on her schedule. A jokester at heart, Judy never met a stranger and had the ability to make everyone laugh. Although she would do anything for anyone, she would only allow you into her pockets just so deep. She loved tigers and hummingbirds almost as much as her friends loved eating the concoctions that she cooked, even though she would never tell you what the top-secret recipe was.

Along with her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brothers John (Ricky) Hardison, Jr., and Charles Thomas Hardison.

Judy is survived by sister and brother in-law Patricia and Les Tetterton; niece, Christina Hardison; nephew, Ricky "Bubba" Hardison; great niece, Brianna Small; three great-nephews, Zachary Sutherland, Hunter Hardison, and Colton Hardison; eight cousins; and her two lifelong friends who she considered more like her sisters, Barbara Forest and Patricia Boyd.

Judy was a good friend who will be missed by many.
