Judy Cox Langley
Judy Cox Langley age 75, a resident of 1291 Elwood Holliday Road, Jamesville, NC passed away at Vidant Hospice in Greenville, NC on Friday, August 4, 2017.
Mrs. Langley was born in Richwood, West Virginia on April 11, 1942 the daughter of the late Henry Richard Cox and Velva Elizabeth Cox. She married James "Whitey" Langley who preceded her in death in 1983. Judy was an EMT with the Jamesville Rescue Squad, Respiratory Therapist at Martin general Hospital and a former Cosmetologist. She loved fishing, crocheting and never missed watching the Carolina Panthers and the Carolina Tar Heel basketball teams play.
Survivors include a son: James "Timmy" Langley of Jamesville, NC; a daughter: Velva "Sissy" Berry (Thomas) of Grifton, NC; two sisters: Sheila McGowan of Pantego, NC and Brenda Lilley (Gerald) of Williamston, NC; a brother: Darryl Cox of Washington, NC; three grandchildren: Samantha "Sam" Langley, J.T. Berry (Christy), Stoney Berry; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister: Lora Pace.
The family will have a private memorial service to be announced at a later date.
