Janie Pruitt Bell, age 44, of Stokes, NC, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 as the result of a tragic motor vehicle accident.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Joseph B. Paul Jr. Funeral Service at 2:00pm on Monday January 3, 2022.
Janie is survived by her husband David Bell, parents; Tommy (Kathy) Pruitt of Greenville and Diane (Chris) Griffin of Elm City, children; Corey Jones, Whittney Jones, Dylan Martin, Colby Martin, Lacy Bell and Gracy Bell, granddaughter Braylyn Jones, and her stepbrother Chip Jones.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and daughter who loved to spend time with family and friends having a cookout or just enjoying each other around the fire pit.
Janie will be lovingly remembered as a woman who kept an immaculate household and was always ready and willing to head out on a shopping or beach expedition.
Her unexpected and untimely passing as the result of a tragic car accident on Christmas day with her young daughter who was also in the car and injured, has left a financial burden on her family.
