James Timothy Langley Jr. age 57, a resident of the Farm Life community in Martin County, passed away at his home Tuesday, July 19, 2022.

A Celebration of Life (Party) will be held Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 3:00pm-until, at the Farm Life Ruritan building, located on NC Hwy 171, or call his daughter Samantha at 252-508-6577.

An Amazing Son, Brother and Uncle.
Following his mother: Judy Mikelle Cox Langley and his father: James Timothy Langley, Sr (also known as Whitey).  James hails from Martin County graduating from Jamesville High School class of 1983. He lived life for his family making sure ends met along with his sister: Velva Berry Lewis / Paul Harrington. He was preceded in death by a brother in law: James Earl Berry. He has one child, but loved his nephews: James Timothy Earl Berry and Stoney Lyn Berry as his own sons. And finishing off strong (aka best for last) He’s the proud father of Samantha Jay Langley, but not as proud as she is to be his daughter.

    J.T. started out as a friend to my brother Jeff (who passed away on March 08, 2016). But over time he and my other brother L.D. became friends. Somewhere, around 1980 he started a friendship with me. But it grew to more, he became my Brother. I got to know him, Mrs. Judy, & Sissy. And he was there for us when our Father passed away on June 15, 1988. After I joined the Air Force, I never forgot my Brother. And I was so glad to reunite with him when I moved back to Jamesville. And to meet his Most Pride & Joy, His Daughter Sam. J.T., My Brother, You Are Loved And You Will Be Missed.
