Mrs. Heather Freelove Foster Sawyer. Also known to many as Boo, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at her home in Bath at the age of 34.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2020 at Life Gate FWB Church. Burial will follow in Ryder Hill Cemetery.
Boo was born on October 18, 1985 to the late Carl and Emily Foster Jr in Pitt County NC. She married her long time love, Toby Sawyer, on January 10, 2005. Together they have four sons: Hayden Levi Justice Sawyer, Bentley Ryan Louis Sawyer, Jacob Eli Cullens Sawyer and Dylan Lane "Cross" Sawyer. She also helped raise Sharon "Elizabeth" Bland who she claimed as her daughter. She proudly received her General Education Diploma on May 14, 2011.
Boo was one of the most thoughtful, caring humans. She never met a stranger. She never judged anyone and always lended a hand when needed. Being the oldest of 5 siblings, she played mama to them often. She was always her brothers keeper. Boo loved her children more than anything. She has always loved children and babysitting has always been her passion. Not many times was she seen without a baby on her hip. Alongside babysitting, she also enjoyed watching Grey's Anatomy, driving around (or running the roads as she would call it), and writing poems. Boo was an inspiration to many. She had countless people following her journey and rooting her on.
Boo is survived by her husband Toby, their children, Elizabeth, Hayden, Bentley, Jacob and Cross. mother in law: Linda Mizelle, siblings: Stephen Foster, Carla McArthur and husband Rick, Wilson Foster and fiancée Beth, and Cameron Merritt, her grandparents: Carl Foster Sr and Carolyn and Drew Singleton. Boo has many neices and nephews that she loved and adored that she leaves behind. Cody, Kristina, Kandace, Landon, Leah, Luke, Lane and Remi and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She wass preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Emily Foster Jr, grandmother: Betty Jean Foster, father in law: Millard Sawyer, step father: in law: Jay Mizelle, aunt: Christy Marshburn and cousin: Lil William Foster.
