Gregory Kenneth Fitzner age 61, a resident of Washington, NC died Tuesday, October 9, 2018.
A celebration of life for Gregory will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Washington Assembly of God in Washington.
Mr. Fitzner was born on October 16, 1956 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of the late Kenneth Raymond Fitzner and Mary Alice Fitzner who survives.
Along with his mother: Mary Alice Fitzner he is survived by a daughter: Crystal Lee Mackay and husband Scott of Truro, Nova Scotia; two sisters: Karen Boss and husband Troy of Moncton, New Brunswick; Kim Fitzner of Sydney, Nova Scotia; grandson: Cohen Mackay, nephew: Evan Boss, two nieces: Nicole Taylor and husband Ira, Amanda Schmit, his girlfriend: Joan Bradshaw of Washington, NC; a brother from another mother Milton Jones of Washington, NC and his beloved little man his dog AJ.

    Prayers to the family. I considered Greg my friend and will miss him. I am blessed that I talked with him the morning of his accident. He was a good man with a heart of gold and loved helping people. AJ is going to miss him.
