Gloria Modlin Waters age 77 a resident of 705 E. 7th Street Washington, NC died Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.
Gloria was born October 21, 1942 in Beaufort County the daughter of the late Charles Hunter Modlin and Catherine Harris Modlin.
She worked with the Beaufort County Nursing Home and later with Davids Trash Service. Gloria loved going to church and spending time with her church family. She loved shopping whether from home or going to many different stores, she was always on the move.
Survivors include her daughter: Rebecca Cowen and husband Charles of Washington, NC; sister: Joyce Stokesberry of Chocowinity, NC and eight grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two daughters: Augusta Williamson and Della Godley and son: Dwain Waters.
