Family and friends are welcome.
Gail was born on April 9, 1958 in McDowell County, West Virginia the daughter of the late James Oliver Penley and Gladys Faye Penley.
"Grandma Gail" or "Ma Gail" as many called her, our mother, sister, grandmother and friend!
She loved to sing old country music, some of her favorites were Crystal Gayle, John Anderson, Earl Thomas Conley, George Straight, Loretta Lynn and many more. Gail would often fiddle around with musical instruments when she was younger like the banjo.
She loved to paint and draw landscapes and occasionally showed the grandchildren how to paint.
Grandma Gail was always eager to help her children, her family and her friends. She never met a stranger and everyone was always welcome in her home.
When Gail loved you, she genuinely loved you, there wasn't anything she wouldn't do to help you.
Gail loved her children, her grandchildren, her brothers and sisters and made sure to call each of us daily to check on us. If only to ask, "Hi how was you day?" She had a bond with her twin brother Dale that you could not explain!
She was so proud of each of us!! Especially her grandchildren!
Gail loved to laugh and was a true prankster, she was a true sport when her children and grandchildren played pranks on her as well as a giver of the pranks.
We ALL will truly miss Gail! with her thoughtful words, her caring heart, her love for her family,. But most of all her!!
Grandma Gail, thank you for everything you have given us! Especially the warmth we shared with you during your precious time on earth.
Your legacy will live on in all of us!
