Florence Lewis Haddock
Florence "Tinker" Lewis Haddock age 74, a resident of 123 King Steet, Bath died Friday, January 18, 2019 at Ridgewood Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The family will have a private memorial service.
Mrs. Haddock was born in Beaufort County on January 6, 1945 the daughter of the late Ernest Nathan Lewis and Eva Jones Lewis. She was married to Johnnie Ray Haddock, Sr. her husband of 57 years who preceded her in death in 2016. Florence was the most strong, loving and dedicated wife and mother anyone could ask for. She could be found watching SVU, NCIS, Life Time and Hallmark movies with her family and also enjoyed boating, cooking, loved to gather family to eat and made the best pies! Florence had an open door and plate for anyone and was a very loved and respected women in any town she called home. She was grateful, warm and had opened her heart and home to many over the years. Her favorite saying which she often said was pretty is, as pretty does. Florence will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Survivors include two sons: Anthony "Tony" W. Haddock and Johnnie Haddock and wife Crystal all of Sanford, Florida; a sister: Helen Campbell of Washington; five granddaughters, one grandson and several great grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two daughters: Eva Michelle Dickens and Florence Anne Haddock, four brothers: Hilton Lewis, Roy Lewis, Alton Lewis, Buddy Lewis and two sisters: Marie Manning and Mary Bell.
