Eleanor Gordon Allen

Eleanor Rae Gordon Allen, 85, a resident of Washington, NC passed away November 3, 2020. She was born December 4, 1934 to the late Halene Linton Gordon and Frank Vannott Gordon in Beaufort County, NC. Eleanor worked for many years in the healthcare industry. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Cartwright Clark and husband James of Washington, NC, her son, Bobby Cartwright of Greenville, NC seven grandchildren; Clifton Pyle, Sabrina Pyle, Phillip Cartwright, Lyn Cartwright, Amanda Cartwright, Christina Cartwright, and Mona Cartwright, thirteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Godwin and her granddaughter, Patricia Cartwright. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Sidney FWB Church Cemetery, Belhaven, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, November 6, 2020 at Joseph B. Paul, Jr. FDL & Washington Funeral and Cremation Service.
