Donna Lynn Vann, age 56, a resident of Washington, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.
She was born on April 23, 1965 to Marcus and Sylvia (Mizelle) Dixon in Norfolk, VA. Donna worked as a Nursing Assistant.
She was preceded in death by a mother: Patricia Diane Dixon; a father: Marcus Gene Dixon; and a Husband to whom she was married for 38 years: Jesse Ray Vann.
Donna is survived by two daughters: Julia Reyes and husband Mario of Washington, NC, America "Sissy" Vann of Greenville, NC; a son: Jesse "Bubba" Ray Vann and wife Krystal of Grimesland, NC; three Brothers: Billy Dixon and wife Margie, Nicholas Vann of Greenville, NC, Jesse Richard Vann and wife Kari of Norfolk, VA; two sisters: Teresa Morris and husband Lavern of Vanceboro, April Rodriguez and husband Richard of Greenville, NC; six nephews: Joshua Lewis, Jordin Reyes, Pier Rodriguez, Austen Vann, Rayn Vann, Keagan Vann; six nieces: Carmen Delgado, Jasmine Delgado, Maria Reyes, Aubri Vann, Avery Vann, Kristaya Vann; two grandsons: Johnathan Pollard, Ethan Ray Vann; five granddaughters: Carmella Garcia, Kaitlyn Reyes, Cristian Reyes, Kenley Reyes, Juliette Reyes; two great-grandsons Jayden Goddard, Elijah Pollard; and one great-granddaughter: Aaliyah Goddard.
Her heart was as large as her family and she will greatly missed for generations to come.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Washington Assembly of God, officiated by Kyle Miller. The family will receive friends Friday, January 7, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Joseph B. Paul, Jr. Funeral Service.
