Debra Marie Smith, age 59, a resident of Grantsboro NC, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at her mother's home.
She was born on November 26, 1962, to Mitchell and Barbara (Owens) Nipper in Okeechobee, Fl.
Along with her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her husband Jessie (Goonie) Smith, Jr. and her brother, Brian Nipper.
Debra is survived by two daughters, Jessica (Zach Langley) Smith of Washington, NC, Brandy (Gary Hollister) Smith of Aurora, NC; step-son, Jason Crockett; granddaughter, Sylvia Hollister; two grandsons, Jessie Hollister and Michael Nicholson, Jr.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
