Calvin "Possum" Ebron age 60 a resident of 516 Simmons Street, Washington, NC passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Bethel Chapel Ministries in Washington, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM until the service hour at the church.
Calvin a quiet and gentle soul was born in Washington, NC on March 23, 1958 the son of the late Elder Lindsay Ebron and Mrs. Helen Ebron.
As a young man, he attended Little Grove Holiness Church in Washington, NC and was a student in Washington City Schools. He graduated from Washington High School in 1976. Calvin worked at National Spinning and other odd jobs. His favorite saying was "It Is, What It IS".
He leaves to cherish his memory one adult son: Quante' Woolard of Raleigh, NC; two brothers: Lindsay Ebron, Jr. of Winterville NC and Terry "Mac" Ebron and wife Myrtice of Roanoke Rapids, NC; two sisters: Marian Harrison of Albemarle, NC and Joycetine Whitley and husband Paul of Troy NC; devoted cousins: Billy and Tammy Ebron, several aunts, uncles a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and many friends. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents Elder Lindsay Jay Ebron, Sr. and Mrs. Helen Bonner Ebron.
