Caddie Williams Baker, age 61, a resident of Chocowinity, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Vidant Beaufort Hospital.
Ms. Baker was born May 6, 1959 to the late William Williams and Mary Edwards Williams. Along with her parents Ms. Baker was preceded in death by her brother Marshall Manning.
Caddie leaves behind her daughter Penny Leggett and husband Joel of Washington, NC, her son, Joseph Baker of Washington, NC, her brothers, Billy Williams of Greenville, NC, Frank Smith of Pamlico Beach, Walter Edwards of Washington, NC and Sammy Edwards, her nieces, Frances and Tabitha Smith, nephew, Jay Williams, her grandchildren, Seth and Savannah Leggett.
Caddie was very caring and generous to anyone in need. She dearly loved her family and her little dogs Fred, Dottie, Ginger and LuLu. She attended Asbury Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Donations in Caddie's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Covenant House or Asbury United Methodist Church.
