Brandi Ann Bartelt, 27, a resident of Washington, NC passed away in her home early Sunday morning, with her fiancรฉ Billy Allen Walker by her side.
A visitation will he held on Friday, March 17th at 2:00pm, at Joseph B. Paul Funeral Service. The funeral service will follow at 3;30PM at Washington Assembly of God in Washington, NC, with burial immediately afterward at Pamlico Memorial Gardens in Washington, NC.
Brandi's parents are John and the late Susan Bartelt. She was born and lived in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania and moved to many cities in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Susan Bartelt, who passed away less than a month ago; her grandparents, Fritz and Rae Bartelt, and Mike and Leona Hoherchak, all from Jim Thorpe, PA.
She is survived by her fiancรฉ Billy Walker, her beautiful daughter Caroline (6 years old), and her handsome son Billy Jr (4 years old), and Father John Bartelt. All through Brandiโs life she had the loving support of a great family. Aunt Carol and Uncle Jerry Munley, Uncle Michael and Aunt Patty Hoherchak, Uncle Paul and Aunt Debbie Hoherchak and Uncle Fred and Aunt Carla Bartelt. She has several cousins: Michele Munley (her Godmother) and husband Mark Schrum; Michael Hoherchak III, Alyssa Bartelt, Jerry Munley and son Levi, Haley Wolf and husband Michael and daughter Amelia, Brandi also has a host of great aunts and uncles and second cousins whom she shared many holidays, events, and activities with and created wonderful memories, as she grew up in Pennsylvania. Billy's parents, Brian and Brandi Walker, Sheila Justice and Juan Vaga Arredondo, and the entire Walker family welcomed and treated Brandi as their own and easily accepted her into their family for eleven years now.
Brandi was loved by so many, as it was easy because she was a genuinely nice, caring person, so welcoming and lovable. She had many good friends, including her Wal-Mart family in Washington, where she worked.
Brandi graduated from Washington High School, attended Beaufort County Community College, and with her exceptional grades, she was also accepted to Meredith College in NC.
Prior to raising her two beautiful darling Children, she took over ownership of her motherโs specialty cake business, Ann Marie Cakes.
Brandi was an avid photographer, had a dark room, specialized in event action shots, personal photo shoots, and nature shots; and was a collector of vintage cameras.
Brandi had a passion to be near the water and for caring and nurturing small animals, especially racoons.
As her children grew, Brandi expanded her passion to include creating personalized branding and souvenir products and lacquering real flowers, and creating other personalized items.

Brandiโs passing comes less than a month after the passing of her mother, Susan Marie Bartelt. This has left her two small children without a mother and a grandmother and devastated her family.
