Billy Respass age 81, a resident of 10972 NC Hwy 32 South, Plymouth, NC died Tuesday September 19, 2017 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Respass was born in Washington County on November 16, 1935 and was the son of the late Dallas Roland Respass and Rachel Russ Respass. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Billy was married to Beverly Ward Respass who preceded him in death in 2005. He enjoyed hunting, trapping and especially enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and Biloxi, Mississippi.
Mr. Respass is survived by two sons: Billy Respass and wife Alison of Washington, NC and Chris Respass and wife Tammy of Hanover, Virginia; one step daughter: Leona Jordan and husband Edward of Pinetown, NC; two step sons: Chris North and wife Dianna of Willow Springs, MO and Todd North and wife Michelle of Belhaven, NC; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sons: Marty Respass and David Respass and a sister: Betty Selfridge.
