Billy Ray Beasley
Billy Ray Beasley age 55, a resident of 4390 Old Blounts Creek Road, Chocowinity, NC passed away Sunday June 25, 2017 unexpectedly at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday June 29, 2017 at Washington Assembly of God officiated by Rev. Daniel Haskett. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 5:30 PM until the service hour.
Mr. Beasley was born in Elizabeth City, NC the son of the late Julian Harold Beasley and Cora Madeline Miller Beasley. He worked with Bobby's Mobile Home Supplies of Chocowinity until his retirement due to his health. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing with his best friend Leslie Paramore and most of all was an avid NASCAR fan.
Billy is survived by the love of his life for the past 35 years, Sue K. Simpson, two sons: Jody Dutton and wife Phoebe of Macon, Missouri and Albert Simpson III and wife Billie Smith of Morehead City, NC; two sisters: Regina Bagwell and husband Ray of Lillington, NC and Renee Jolly of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two brothers: David Beasley of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Julian "Bo" Beasley and wife Kerri of Chesapeake, Virginia and three grandchildren.
