Timothy "PaPa" Darrell Boseman, age 53, a resident of Chocowinity, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

A graveside service will be held at the Edwards Cemetery, 10:00am Thursday April 7, 2022 with Pastor Tim Whealton officiating.

Tim was born in New Jersey on June 25, 1968, to the late Brooks and Janet (Dover) Boseman. He will be forever remembered as a tender-hearted, fun-loving man who was quick to crack a joke that could make anyone laugh no matter how tough things were. Scratch off's, cream filled Krispy Kreme donuts and Diet Coke will always bring back a cherished memory for his family. He loved his job and those he worked with. Most of all he loved his family and was a loving husband, daddy and granddaddy.

Tim is survived by his loving wife Karen and their children: son: Joseph (Joey) Jones, daughters Kimberli Moore, Tiffany Boseman and their bonus daughter Brittany Riggs, sister and brother- in- law: Susan and Eddie Lester, brother and sister-in law: Jeff and Rita Boseman, brother: David Boseman, and his grandchildren Josh, Junior, Emma, Anna, Caelynn, Jozie, Adam and Elijah.

Along with his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother John Boseman.

Tim's fight with cancer has been a long and expensive battle. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to help defray the costs that his illness has created and may be made by clicking the link below.
