Lloyd Philemon Edwards age 69 a resident of Washington, NC died at his home on Monday, August 16, 2021.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Alligood Church of God officiated by Pastor Ben Edwards and Pastor Gary Bateman.
The family will receive friends Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 6:30 until 8:00 PM at Alligood Church of God.
Lloyd was born in Pitt County on April 28, 1952 the son of the late Joseph Benjamin Edwards and Pauline Whichard Edwards.
He owned and operated Lloyds Heavy Equipment Service. Lloyd loved his family and was a faithful servant to the Lord.
Lloyd is survived by his wife: Shirley Edwards of Washington, NC; A daughter: Linda Michele Doiel and husband Michael of Chocowinity, NC; a son: Christopher Lloyd Edwards and wife Ashley of Bath, NC; a sister: Paula Jo Edwards of Mt. Olive, NC; a brother: Joseph Benjamin Edwards, Jr. and wife Iris of Greenwood, SC and grandson: Cameron Michael Doiel.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother: Paul Edwards and two sisters: Renee Edwards and Patricia Edwards.
